Baltimore VPC Stop Sales Experience

Same for me except that I have the 0065480300 Retrofitting the receiver audio module issue.

I assume they're upgrading our stereo systems to the 10,000 watt version to comp us for the delay.

I have the same number for the RAM module. Hoping it’s not too long. My dealer said they had the part for my car

Seems like many are affected by this. Might be a glitch in Alex Bond's tool or those affected might have an update coming.

I think it's BMW site cause I get the same from the UK recall tool.

I see. Yup, it is a probably a BMW database issue. Can you check the status of your car in the BMWusa website? Asking because back then whenever I saw some weird stuff happening , there would an update on the status of my car. Hopefully I am not reaching in to much to provide false hopes to many.

Ya My Garage still shows at port. Don't worry I've gone numb lately.

Had my daily "therapy" session with the BMW genius department just now…

My work order still hasn't been started and the VPCs were closed early Wednesday - Sunday last of week. He has no info, but was "feeling good" about a 2021 delivery. Starting to question why I even call anymore

I gave up calling a month ago, and I stopped checking the status last week. I am so done with BMW because none of them have any control or information about port Baltimore. The less you care, the less pressure you have.

The problem is stopping coming to here.

PS: Did you bought your car from any Chicago Dealership? My was from BILL Jacobs.

They are saying everything still normal!

I bought it from Patrick BMW near Chicago. They realize my car was stuck, but they couldn't do anything about it.

So this is odd. It seems that my car has a work order opened on it for the RAM enhancement, but no remedy indicated. The work order was initiated on 11/29. Anyone else have that experience?

The work order open status doesn't mean anything at this point. My work order was open on Oct 16, and nothing happens since then.

If a car is highlighted as having a stop sale, a 'case' will open on it a day or so after being checked into the VPC (in the USA, anyhow). That case will remain open until the stop sale is resolved (programming, retrofitting missing component, remedying safety recall, etc). 'Open' status means nothing more than that, and no indication as to when it will be resolved. Could be a couple days, could be a couple months. Forum members here have seen the gamut these past 2-3 months.
