On the off chance I actually have a car that gets built…. And it gets built week 47 like they say… when should it hit 150? Next week or the week after?

Order placed 1st july, 3 months waiting for allocation, then build week 46, now 47.
Thing is, if it gets delayed beyond week 47, I would not be receiving the car in 2021.

Just wanted to drop this in (week 49 build) I ordered end of august (Scotland) and as of yesterday my schedule remains unchanged. No bump either way, individual FDG fully loaded apart from CCB's

Unfortunately I believe you are actually a week 52 build if I’m reading that right. It says week 49 is your requested build date but actual build date is week 52. Someone correct me if I’m wrong please.

I am not angry. This is the world we live in. Supply chains are a mess and there is no end in sight. I can wait an extra month for delivery.

My sentiments exactly.

MSpain I won't tell you how to feel, but if you've been waiting as long as you have, an extra month or two to get the car at your desired specs really should be worth it IMO. The world we live in right now has a shortage of.. well, everything. Reading threads where people are very low on the list of their dealer's order banks really makes me feel lucky to be where I'm at with my order. An extra few months to get exactly what I want is no big deal, especially since I've got a car to last me until then.

If you're out of a car and need one ASAP, I'd consider buying something that'll keep its value for a few months. A Honda Civic that you buy for 20k then sell for 19k where you lose $1k in resale value and the taxed amount isn't the worst thing in the world. It doesn't have to be some fancy-pants car, just something to hold you over until your G8X comes in.

It appears there are quite a few cars with frozen paint being built in week 49.

I’m still in week 47.

In spain there is a € problem receiving the cars in 2022 because of the new taxes that will be in 2022 for a new car. That means for an M4 about 5.000€ plus taxes and total price than receiving in 2021.

This is the point, 5.600€ in my case.
