     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Had some intakes custom made by InkedCustom in Rottenbach, Germany. Overall I'm happy with the results and quality.

Materials that was used

Silicone hoses
Custom metal reducer to fit filters
Hose clamps
Air filters

If anyone is interested contact InkedCustom on IG.

Sounds good! I would like to get the actual science behind why BMW designed it the way they did. Seems more efficient to use less piping and it sounds way better with this setup!

Thanks and yeah I'm not sure why have the pipe so far away. But then again previous models have that as well with the piping being on the other side of the engine.

Very interesting! I read the entire technical manual for the s58 but it never talked about the reasoning behind intake placement.

I like behind the front grill setup forced air. The OEM intakes are protected from heat soak that's only my 2-cents.
