Stop Sale Experiences Thread

Just getting this kicked off like the other threads. Let's get some data points going. I'm currently at the port in Germany, but will be headed to NY/NJ once I get on a boat. My car has both the radio and camera stop sales... hoping the car doesn't sit there for months.

Car is at NJ VPC as of yesterday.. without stop sale car would be scheduled to be delivered to dealer October 1st... with RAM stop sale, tbd.

How are you guys finding out about the stop sale? Does it show on mybmw?

Strange, my 2022 BMW M4 Competition xDrive recently arrived from Germany into the USA yesterday (Monday, 9/27), it is now in the New Jersey VPC, and it is scheduled to arrive at my dealership in NY on Thursday, 9/30.

From when I ordered the car in late July until now, there has not been a stop sale and there is still no stop sale.

The dealer anticipates that I will be able to pick up the car on Saturday...

Update: I'm told that the RAM issue has been fixed for me and that the vehicle is scheduled to arrive to my dealer on Saturday. Great news but I'll reserve cracking into my aged PBR stash until I have one of those fancy car carrier iPhone photos to prove it.

After that it's off to tint and ceramic and then I'll finally have it in hand. I'll keep ya'll posted but the news today is certainly encouraging.

Wow. So what's the verdict here. Was the work order completed and now they're waiting on the transport? Did you by chance have the camera stop sale as well? Cause I know that has been getting fixed recently. Perhaps that work order cleared and you still have the RAM stop sale? (Hoping that isn't the case). Keep hanging in there man.

@Oeon I had both the camera and the RAM. Camera was resolved about 40 days ago. RAM is resolved. It's assigned to a carrier but from what I can tell the carrier isn't "full" yet so it hasn't left. Hopefully it departs soon. I can't imagine it takes too long to get it to capacity

Update: Still not at the dealer. They're waiting for the carrier to fill up before Queue the sparklers . . . it's a full 70 days today.

My car, ordered in June is at port waiting for a vessel to go to NJ/NY. I am affected by the stop sales so I figured I'd jump on this thread :-( Anyone else at port right now waiting for a boat other than me?

Yes, my car got to port on Thursday I believe. I have a stop sale for RAM.I am curious to see if they will ship out this week and fix at VPC or let it sit for a couple of weeks.

We're in the same boat (or at least waiting for the same boat).

Week 37 build, been at the port for about a week, no vessel assigned yet (as of when I checked yesterday), and at least the RAM stop sale. Hoping for a New Year's car at this point.

I ordered my car July 14th. It arrived at the port, today. RAM stop sale. Color is Dravit Gray M4 Comp. All of the options, except Carbon Buckets, and Carbon Exterior. I thought the Carbon ceramics would be a old up, but its a damn RAM chip.

Yes, I did the M3 in Mint Green I have no idea which stop sale I'm involved in, I am waiting for a reply back. Not that it matters lol ... I was just hoping to get the car before the weather really changes

Ah, Mint green is cool!! Any of the far out, individual colors, are awesome.
