Well that’s awesome. You most certainly are not week 45. You are week 41. Maybe 42 but probably 41.

BMW Genius just informed me that my build week has changed from Week 43 to Week 45 (was originally Week 40), so I'm now following this thread. The waiting saga continues. Hopefully this will be the final build week delay.

Tanzanite Blue II Metallic
826M Black Wheels
M Carbon Exterior
Red Calipers
Carbon Fiber Interior
Black/Silverstone Interior

EDIT: Build status changed to 112 on October 15, still at Week 45

22' M4CX. Production was originally estimated to be completed today, but instead pushed to Week 45. Any other M4C/CXs waiting for production to begin?

All are waiting or have been delayed multiple times on this thread.

Was a 40er too. You have a build week 45 at least, I have "week 48" as of today. Really disappointing.

I first ordered my car in June, still have not seen a damn bubble move on the online tracker. I just want to see some sort of positive progression.

I was a week 40 build, then pushed to 42 and now I just got off the phone with Genius and I was pushed back to Week 49. I think it's the carbon buckets delaying it for me.

Mine is really fully spec'd CCB included, aprat the CF Bucket seats.

In my opinion it doen't depend on the optionals, maybe is just something else at this point.

I think so as well. I had a moment of weakness and almost called my CA to switch to the standard seats, but glad I didn't. I guess it's worth the wait

I think the buckets make the car so much more special and although it sucks now, I know it'll be worth the wait.

Just out of curiosity for both of you guys but have you actually sat in these particular carbon bucket seats? I mean gotten into the car, sat in them and then got out of the car?

I have sat in them on multiple occasions. Gotten in and out about 5 or 6 times and it got easier every time. I am about 5'9" and was 225ish lbs when I sat in them and now I am about 210ish. They were comfortable once you were in and it was easier and easier to get in and out after a few times. To me they were a non-negotiable.

10 four. The enthusiasm you show towards them I have the exact opposite feelings. I thought they were a nightmare to get in and out of and only somewhat comfortable when sitting in them. I’m 5’7” and 160 pounds. I think I might consider getting seats like that if I was extremely wealthy and had many cars and I was going to have them in a car that I would only drive once in a great while but definitely never a daily. I hope yours gets built quickly brother. Do you really think its the seats holding it back in the factory? Is anyone else being delayed because of the carbon seats? That you know of I mean?

I can’t say carbon seats with total certainty but my car doesn’t have many options. And people that have other options I also have are going into or already have hit production. Only difference between me and them has been the carbon seats. I wonder if anyone that has hit production in the last 2 weeks has had carbon seats?

I completely get where you're coming from with that.

I think it is the carbon buckets holding it back as I've seen someone with an identical build (minus buckets) go into production last week when I was originally scheduled.

Just checked and it looks like I'm back in 112 after being pushed to Week 45. Anybody else in 112 status?

EDIT: Looks like I'm now week 44, see y'all later!

Damn. Reading this thread makes me wonder if it’s worth getting the buckets or not lol. I love the way they look but it may not be practical at all.. plus the delays with an individual build already.. I might be digging myself into a hole!
