I guess I'll stick to the RWD, though the price difference is a lot lower than I thought between them, works out at just 1.7k eur in my country, because the xdrive comes standard with the optional larger wheels.
4WD sport is more liberal but its still inhibits a fool from becoming one. Of course, conditions of the road, speed, angle, thrust, can still be adjust to manipulate almost any driving mode.

Which one would you say is more fun/tail happy at reasonable speeds between the M3C and the M3CX in 4wd sport?

Thanks for the detailed replies btw, really helps me decide! My dealer doesn't have a xdrive demo car available unfortunately.

In the context of rear movement (not bowel in nature)... the RWD car is more adept at being pushed as I mentioned above 4WD Sport is still controlling. Is the RWD more fun? I dont think so as I am not the guy that runs around turns and Ken Block's the car but instead I love a controlled rip from launch and amazing grip into and out of turns.

Both cars do the turns in and out just fine in the dry with good warm tires at aggressive but not stupid speeds on the street.

Let me leave you this:

If I didnt have a shot at the Xdrive in AR; I would still be smiling brilliantly with the PB RWD car.

About to join this exclusive club. I'm, set on AR, after much debate, still haven't decided on the interior, leaning towards tartufo. It's been hard to decide between AR, TB and Skyscraper gray.

Planning to join this club, too. On a waitlist for G80 xDrive. Confused between Red and Blue Calipers, too. Sold on AR, though.

I chose black calipers, blue calipers are too risky imo.

After debating between IOMG and PB, I finally picked PB...

However, upon seeing AR was now a non-individual color, I immediately changed the configuration as production is so close

Red calipers, black 826M, I'm even more excited now.

I think blue could work lowkey after seeing a video of the blue calipers on an AR M8. You can barely even tell they're blue.

The red calipers do pop in the sun against the black wheels:

That M8 I posted a pic of and ur car look like 2 entirely different colors. It's crazy how this color can really change so much just due to indoor vs outdoor lighting.

Oh my..... Man I really need to see some of these colors in person. The builder on BMW makes the Tartufo look to be almost a cigar brown, I thought it would look amazing with the AR. However from that video it looks almost teracotta which does NOT look good at all with that red.... Back to the drawing board.

I'm in the same boat. Tartufo though, does have a reddish/orange tinge, it looked darker on the samples I saw, but the dealership was kind of poorly lit, I think I need to go see these again. I think the best interior for AR might be either ivory or black both of which put me off a bit. Black because I've had black interiors for years now and I'd like to change it, and although I like Ivory a lot, I'm afraid of the intensive maintenance such an interior color needs. I will be daily driving the car and I also wear jeans a lot, so that is a factor.

I found a car that is AR over Tartufo, it's an 8 series convertible but I think it shows the color combo well. Imo it's not that great of a match compared to Ivory which looks amazing with AR.

I don't think that's Tartufo. Looks more like Cognac, which is brighter.

Good catch, you're right that's cognac. The tartufo interior on the 8 series is combined with black.

If you look on the previous page somebody posted one with AR & Tartufo...it looks rather horrible. Tartufo comes off as terracotta.
