Wow this makes me feel fortunate for my week 42 with an order at the end of August. Were you guys on a waiting list for an allocation or ordered and got a production number back in July?

My initial build week was 32, in late July it changed to "September the earliest" as my SA put it. Now it's 46.
That's the way it is as Poland is not high on BMW's priority list.

No waiting lists at least in Spain.
First orderings were available first week of june, but first builidng weeks for Spain about week 40. Depends a lot on the build, for example I got bumped from 42 to 46 because of Laser lights.
Basic builds may get a 40 week build or something like that.
The only better thing about Europe is our transport time, is about 2-3 weeks only after dispatched from the factory.
Week 49 is my ETA.

HI From Italy! Ordered the very first one M3 Xdrive the 4th june here.....fully loaded except CB seats.

Initially week 35, then 40, now 48. Expected delivery january 2022. You're in good company.

Being sick of lack of concrete info from my CA I forced Customer Service to check what's the deal with my order and they came back with the following:

My specification contains options that are currently restricted which is why my build is being pushed back. If I want my car to be built this year I would have to remove restricted options*

* - they didn't specify which option is restricted.

This is f@#$%^ ridiculous. I wasn't informed of any restrictions when placing my order on May 25th and CA told me my car would be ready for pick up in August. Now I'm looking at over six months of waiting.

I gotta cool down a bit and respond to their email.

If it helps I can give you a list of options that are definitely available based on UK market (with no restrictions).

You can then cross compare this with your market to see if there's anything else in there on your build that could potentially be causing the restrictions. This will help narrow it down

If I had to hazard a guess, I believe it is 6WD Wi-Fi Hotspot causing the delay on your build as there is a shortage of this option.

Both US and UK markets currently do not offer it.

UK market has recently added this option back on the online configurator but when I spoke to my dealership they confirmed it is not actually available yet (probably in a few weeks time it will be).

You can try removing it and see if that causes your build to be rescheduled?

I was told by dealer already in june when I placed my order that it would have caused a delay, so I didn't went for it. Even it, my car is experiencing delays...

In the end, Wifi HS will definitely cause delays.

This is crazyness. My build has all of that options and dealer told me I am still week 46. Time will tell, I wont believe things until happened.
Anyway, they told me that they are experiencing delays with the transport also, not only with production. First they told me I was build week 46 with delivery on week 49, now they are doubting I can get the car before New Year, because of the train that transport the cars from Germany to Spain may be experiencing stops.

It seems to differ from market to market so you might be safe. I'm fed up with it. I ordered right after xDrive version went live and I won't get the car for at least half a year.

Me too. I put a deposit for it on january, then signed the 4th july (the first day live here in Italy)....and now...I don't know when it will arrive. I don't know what to expect, from week35 to 40, now to 48. Patience....a lot of patience....

Hey all, finally received a confirmed production week. Originally ordered a 2021 M3C earlier this year and was rolled into a 2022 M3C XDrive (BMW denied my 2021 build Individual color selection since it was late in the model year). Excited to MAYBE get it this year after 10 months of waiting…

Wow craziness going on in Europe. I hope US orders aren't dealing with the same issues. A lot of the options I have selected are the ones you guys are having issues with too. To top it off, my order wasn't placed until 2 weeks ago when my dealer finally found me an allocation after searching for 3 weeks and they are telling me I'm week 46?!?! I don't know if I should be excited I may get the car so soon or just expect massive delays w/ bumps in production week like everyone else...
