IND | Fall-Line Motorsports G8X M3 / M4 Front Monoball Conversion

MADE IN THE USA.

Fall Line’s monoball spherical bearing conversion kit transforms the front steering and suspension feel of the M3/M4. The factory rubber bushing is very large, and is prone to substantial deflection under load, as the car is put through its paces. Deflection of the bushing can create unwanted geometry change, steering wobble under braking, and even hysteresis of the thrust arm.

The bearing’s housing is precision machined from aluminum, to create a rigid part that allows for the M3/M4’s thrust arm to move smoothly through its range of suspension travel. The improvement in steering and suspension feel is immediate and truly enhances the personality of the new G8x.

Product Details:
  • Fits G80 M3 and G82 / G83 M4
  • Incorporates hard coat clear anodized finish

The Fall-Line Motorsports G8X M3 / M4 Front Monoball Conversion may be viewed at the following link to our online store:

videos like this ->

for F8x which uses basically the same arm, seem like you need a press to remove the stock one and even to insert the new monoball...

i think if i go this route i will just buy new arms (they don't have brushing in) that way its easy to return to stock if its not working out. and maybe find a shop that will press them in for me if need be.

seems like these are the arms, but i am not 100% sure

Are these sealed like the Dinan ones, or will they require maintenance? Thanks

I believe these are not sealed. You can see the Dinan ones have a sealed rubber boot in my pics below.

do you have a link to a street-car version which has the monoballs sealed with rubber boots? or do we call in and ask for that on the order?

I wonder what the concern is with debris getting in there?

Race cars don’t have the rubber boots because they don’t have to deal with the same longevity concerns Street cars have. The rubber boots/seal ensures longevity and minimizes the maintainence of the mono balls.

We do not have this product with dust boots currently. FLM has not incorporated them into their design.
