You got it, Ill cease and desist-

Oh hit up Ben at RG Sport for the MSS deal!!!

I forgot what tires you had (dont want to open another window to check) but Ill tell you this, I have room in the front for 18mm and no rubbing...

Sorry one last

@Vic55 just want to confirm your new M3 in this pic has 15mm squared set up, right? I reached out for that pricing and just want to make sure I know what your set up is. Not sure I'll go as low as you did, but just want to make sure I know what I'm looking at.

Thanks for these! Literally just ordered the MSS HAS kit and 15mm spacers for all four corners. Gonna sell the ECS flush kit on here since I never put them on (was supposed to tomorrow). Decided it best to do 15mm x4 and the HAS kit instead 😏👍

Yes...and ahh oops...sorry, Ben, had I known I most certainly would have...my bad!

I just wanted them asap and was told elsewhere that R44 can get them to me in two days; that and their price was right...either way, my bad, Ben!

All good, you would have saved shipping but who cares LOL

Do you have a good shop where you live to install the MSS??

I did but I'm not sure now...I used to have Turner Motorsports in Amesbury, MA do all my work but they closed shop. I couldn't even find someone to do the spaces for "liability reasons," and had an appointment this afternoon with my local BMW to do it, as they said no problem and it wouldn't effect my warrenty..go figure...but I canceled that appointment since I decided to go with 15/15 spacers and the MSS kit....so my plan is to call them and see if they will do the MSS kit as well.....but before I do, I'm going to see if I can find another shop just to give my business to someone smaller than a BMW dealer.

Yeah that makes sense as you dont want a BMW dealer to install the MSS IMHO.

Out here in SoCal, shops are fairly prevalent and willing to do whatever it takes. The key here is to find the right techs who know shit vs the mousehouse guys.

I agree but I'm also stuck between a rock and hard place....there is no one else that knows BMW's around southern NH/Northern MA that I'm aware of, and I don't want to go to place unfamiliar with BMWs for obvious reasons...and while a dealer is obvious familiar, I'm not sure having them do a spring job is the best idea either.

There has to be one shop who has dropped F8X's (the G8X is very similar)- its relatively the same process except with the X drive one has to pull the two front dampers out vs swinging them aside.

The rear is easy with no trunk access required.

So I found a shop...but they are asking me if I want/need corner balance scales? They are saying it would cost me like $1300 to do this and the spacers between the MSS install, corner balance scales, alignment and spacer install...seems crazy but is that really what is needed?

EDIT: I don't have x-drive...so should be even more simple, no?

LOL pass on the corner shit, you arent Lewis Hamilton running a track session only right?

Just install the MSS, spacers, and drive for about 200 miles and then align at a shop with the laser setup and a vin scanner that will download the specs.

RWD is about 45-60 minutes faster as no damper removal.

OMFG dude...I spoke another shop, and said they could do it no problem, so I ask if they are 100% sure, guy says he will talk with his techs and get back me...he calls me back a moment ago and f-ing quotes me $1750!!! Says 7 hours of labor to remove the struts etc. to install the springs!! I laugh and say this is an hour job, and ask him for an email address to send them a video of the install to...so I just emailed them this vid:

...now just waiting for the call back...WTF!!!

Seriously, if anyone see's this post/thread, and you live in Southern NH or MA, please for the love of God, recommend some place for my MSS HAS and spacer install....PLEASE!

Well to be fair, from rack up to rack down its more along the lines of 2 hours and then the shop might want to make a little so fair billing is circa 3 hours or so.

Ive watched Ben do the process maybe 6x's or more and a shop that says 3 hours is legit.

It's 3-4 hour job at max. I did DIY for the front in less than two hours. Rears took it to a shop, and paid $120. I wasn't able to get the bolts off on jack stand for the rear. $1750

Hey All, I'm pretty sure it's recommended to use "anti seize" when doing spacers....is there a recommended kind?

15front / 12 mm rear Macht schnell spacers over Pzero. Heated fins and pushed slightly to alleviate front rub. ZERO rubbing and on AST lowering springs sourced from EAS here on boards — VERY happy.

So I kind of low key.. selfishly want to try an 18F 15R. I think it can take it!!! Without a doubt can take the 15 in the rear. I’d call this a square-ish set up currently, especially as the front settles… I will say the poke in the rear for some reason comes across more aggressive in 1st person? Could be just confirmation bias too.

Are you able to show the final results of heating up fins?
