It looks slick.

My car was scheduled to start Xpel Stealth today but I chickened-out in the last minute

I went and looked at the car today and the PPF installer put a couple of stealth pieces on it to make sure we're good to go but I didn't fall in love with it and decided to do full regular Xpel PPF that keeps the gloss! I had high expectations that it'll look like the pics & videos of factory Frozen Portimao Blue but it looked more dull/matte than frozen/satin!

I know it's hard to judge unless you're looking at the completed car or at least a couple of completed panels, but I didn't want to get to the point of no return unless I was 100% confident! I took it outside and looked under natural light but still wasn't convinced.

I was really looking forward to go in that direction but maybe the stealth look is just not for me! Y'all's cars look sick in this thread though!

Let me know how it turns out. And what did they charge you there for full PPF? My local guy is charging $10k, which is just absurd for my market, so I'm thinking of going to ATL or just foregoing PPF altogether.

Out of all of these I've seen, my favorite is the stealth IOMG. Something about that mat green just looks deluxe, I think I like it even more so than the shiny IOMG. Such an interesting hue when done in "stealth".

I think going with the clear PPF was a good choice.
It makes the car pop
Let me know how everything turns out. Would love to see some close-up pics of the edges and seams.

Honestly it looks like you had a giant strip of scotch tape on your car in those photos. I think you made the right call.

Isn't that almost what PPF is stealth being the frosted-look tape

While it's not fair to judge the final stealth look by having one (or two) stealth strip(s) laying on the paint, I feel I made the right decision based on what I expected the paint to look like underneath the stealth strip.

Yeah I agree, it doesn't look like it would have panned out well.

I almost did Portimao and added stealth PPF, but from what I have seen, it doesn't seem to play well with the lighter colors. From the pics I have seen, it appears to work best on darker grays/black/tanzanite.

I was hesitant on the AW stealth but it looks great with the light/shadow effect. $7K for a full in my area, which is a little too expensive for my needs.

The red…reminds me of tomato paste.

Does anyone have a Portimao Blue in stealth. I really like the Frozen Portimao Blue and want to see would stealth wrap achieve the same thing.

SoCal charges way too much imo. I was quoted $8200 for a full wrap, and my car is a little bit bigger than yours.

BG with stealth looks amazing. I have mine on order this summer and still going back and forth with Frozen White or Dark Grey. But that BG with Stealth is tempting

BG in its natural form is just too damn good to go stealth.

My personal opinion, dark colors look best with stealth ppf. So far, that satin black m3 looks so dope.
