Agreed. I feel like the 21" wheel with the 25 tire is going to look like rubber band wheel. IMO these cars need a sportier aggressive look…. That's just me though.

To be honest, I don't know if I'm going to like how the car will look on the rear side, however seeing the video that "Somer" posted will definitely be worth a try for me.
Will see...

Hey do you mind weighing the wheels before you get tires put on?

I'm wondering with the 21 wheel will you even have room for anything other than a 25…

I did some numbers and the:

Originals 285/30/20
Rears are 26.73 (Wheel in Inches)

Option A 295/25/21
Rears are 26.81 (Wheel in Inches)

Option B 305/25/21
Rears are 27.00 (Wheel in Inches)

May be I am wrong.

What do you think on Option B? going 305/25/21?

idk.. I've seen talk of 295/30 on the rear, but if you stretch to a 305 with a 25 its going to be like a band, and im not sure if it would rub on the rears. Spacers or no spacers? I also know tire brand makes a big difference in fitment. I did a ton of research before I put tires on my BBS's, but i did make an error in buying a tire I wanted and hoped would fit, and inevitably I had to return it and go with the smaller size. Maybe a 295, with a spacer will give you the look you desire.
Im anxious to see what people do with the G's as far as wheels, cause I am anxious to change them myself, but im waiting and letting other peoples "trial and error" work in my favor.. lol...

I share the same anxiety as you, I have asked HRE about the video they posted of the M4 with 1000M wheels, about which spacers did they use? and they answered me that Rear and Front 13mm H&R 2655664SW with H&R 14254301SW Wheel Bolt and that they use the H&R Sport Spring Kit 28616-2, however they did not answer me if that same kit can be used with the model of my car with Xdrive, anyway I think I will have to use trial and error with some things, hopefully before my car is ready we will know of someone who dares to put 305/25/21 Rear Tires on it and we will know at once if they fit or not.

Today I found out that according to BMW tracking my car is in the process of painting, so there is less to go.

i just received an email from Ryan from H&R and he explains more info about the Xdrive and now he said for the spacers 11mm front and 13mm rears
He is talking about this video

"I checked with my engineers in Germany. The springs have not been tested for Xdrive, so we cannot say they work. Most of the time the springs are different between Xdrive and RWD. We will be working on Xdrive soon. I can let you know when we find out about Xdrive springs.

I checked twice. The spacers used in the video were 11mm at the front and 13mm at the rear.

11mm- 2255664 (available in black 2255664SW)
13mm- 2655664 (2655664SW)
Screws- 14254301SW

Greetings

Ryan

I'm hoping when the BMW M Coilovers come out, they wont be stupid expensive. I'm figuring at least $2,500, though.

That will be great! I hope they do not take long to bring it to the market.

Me either. Unfortunately, after looking at the KW Coilovers, which these are closely related. They're like $6,000

I think for the M3/M4, the M performance suspension is just a H.A.S. kit like with the F8x cars since they also had adaptive dampers. The M2 M performance suspension was closer to KW V3s since that car had passive dampers.

If the above is accurate, the M performance H.A.S. kit should only be ~$1400-$1500 I'd say or a slight premium over the KW H.A.S. kit.

For the Price, I was referring to full on shock/ spring replacements. Like the KW V3/V4. I would like something that didn't cancel the EDC, though.

It has been in the port since Friday, August 6, so I will have to wait a few weeks for sure .

For now I already have the license plate for my M4

You don't have to anymore, I found this post

https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...58&postcount=2

1000M:
Front: 26.7lbs
Rear: 27.9lbs

Decent for 20/21 combo, not bad not great.

Did you decide if you're going to try 305/25/21's?

I decided to stay with 295/25/21 SOMER

I really want to see how they look in the car, but unfortunately I had a stop sale and my car stayed in the dealership here the matter:
