Just installed mine tonight. I did a valve open cold start and thought "holy crap, what have I done". It does sound great.

One thing I recommend is that you measure the 3 dots on both sides to make sure they are even on both sides. I would also recommend cutting at the first set of dots leaving the pipes on the stock muffler longer. Fit the new pipes loosely then cut any extra off.

I used my Milwaukee reciprocating saw with a 6 inch hacksaw blade. Went through it like butter. Was pretty tight working space due to length of the saw but doable. I was using a QuickJack at its highest setting. If you are working under one of these, or jack stands, I would recommend using a shorter saw from Harbor Freight like TexasEd did or use a cutoff blade in one of those small grinders.

The sound is amazing. Now you can hear the burbles (I like this; not ricey) better than in the F82. Full throttle sounds great, no drone, fart can, or crappy oversized exhaust on small engine sound. Cold start in M2 was as loud as my son's stage 3+ STI with turbo-back straight pipes.

I am assuming it will fit since the cars are the same size. I just sold my 2021 M4 Competition Coupe (because of the sport seats) and ordered a 2022 M4 Competition Coupe with x-drive. I removed the PSI mid-pipe before selling it and plan on installing it on my new car.

We have now been able to confirm that our PSI G8X Midpipe does fit on the AWD X-Drive models!

That is good news...I had assumed that they would be interchangeable. Basically the two cars are identical other than the drive modes and a slight weight difference.

When I reinstalled my OEM midpipes to the car I sold I had to use two of the clamps from PSI. I have since purchased two replacement ss clamps. Those clamps are expensive at over $50 for the pair. Now all I need is my new car.

Anyone have any issue with the X-pipe coming into contact with the aluminum cross/skid plate? My midpipe was causing a lot of vibration/resonating at low rpm. Tried loosening all the clamps an getting it higher but no dice. Not making any noise now but I may have to put a piece of heat tolerant rubber between the two or have a custom hanger made. The X-pipe is not upside down.

I removed the cross/skid plate while installing my PSI midpipe. It would not re-attach after installing the midpipe. I left it off.

You can space the plate down with 1-2 washers to create more clearance, but we originally designed the pipe for the brace to be used just like it is OEM. Sometimes the stainless will expand and contract enough and change that clearance.

Please email us pics so I can look at that with my fab guys. If the pipe hits that brace after all adjustments we will swap it out if you would like to do so.

I sold my car and have a lightly used PSI Midpipe for sale. I only had it installed for about 100 miles before removing it and selling the car. If interested you can see it in the classified section on this site.

Oh man I just ordered one from your site on the 9th is there any way you can make that retroactive as it's not yet been fulfilled?

Jump on this deal. I installed the PSI mid pipe and my M3C actually sounds like an M car now.
