I was asking dealers in my area to order and most came back with a markup of $5k to $8k but.....i was happy to finally find one that was ok with MSRP and no markup. Went ahead and ordered today, figured it'd be next to impossible to find a dealer willing to go under MSRP.

Don't have the production number yet but it may be because it was late in the day when they put the order in. I'll ask in the next day or two if i don't get it.

He mentioned i was 3rd on the waiting list, not sure what that meant and asked if that translates to an extended wait time but he said I should be good. What do you guys think? Not in a huge rush and i'm expecting 5 months for delivery...maybe longer. So the wait begins....

Specs:
G80 Comp RWD
Skyscraper Grey
826 bi-color
Silverstone Full leather (been going back and forth on SS and tartufo, such a tough decision)
CF Trim
M Drive Pro
Laserlight
Shadowline light
Black brake calipers

Kept it simple, didn't go for the bucket seats cuz my fat a$$ won't fit and no CCB's as i don't think i'm gonna track it often.

If you walked out of there without a production number and they said you are third on their list, that means they don't currently have an allocation for your order and you've just been put into the order bank. Be prepared to be waiting a few months to get an actual allocation based on most threads on here for those still waiting an actual allocation. Seems most dealerships are getting 1-2 allocations per month if they are lucky.

Not to burst your bubble but you won't be getting a production number any time soon

Apologies if this is not the right place to ask, but if anyone has any leads on a M4 Non comp manual allocation at MSRP would be very appreciative. Have found MSRP dealers but no allocation.

Being in RI I also reached out to BMW Ridgefield and they told me they wouldn't be able to get me an allocation until March. I'm sticking with BMW Warwick.

Also, my car just went into QC today, so it's moving along but we'll see if it gets stuck there or not.

Put on the list - 1 Year

Went to my local BMW dealer and wanted to purchase an M3 Comp X-Drive however there is a 1 year wait on these cars! Unreal! I guess I will wait since I am no big rush.

Anyone have any tips/suggestions for getting an allocation (or on a waitlist that's shorter than 5) for a M3C x-drive at MSRP? Have pretty much called every dealer in Northern California and the two dealers that are doing doing msrp have 8 and 14 people on the waitlist respectively. A part of me is beginning to accept that it is what it is.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
