Hell yeah laserlights being separated from executive and executive losing features makes it even less worthwhile to get for me. Youre basically paying 4k for a HUD. Easy savings.

The executive package in the competition is now $1800 I believe so still a good deal for those who want HUD & other features

Yeah that's not bad, I didn't think of executive going down without the lights.

My CA just emailed me this today - "BMW has release order guides for the 2022 M4s with AWD. We can now place orders." Kind of vague but supposedly he is working up the numbers/incentives for me now.

He was also vague as to whether they have allocations and how many they have. Sounds like we are close!

Yep, order and price guides are all ready to go but allocations haven't been released just yet.

I got my full build submitted to my CA this afternoon as well and he's passed it along to the new car manager to enter it in as soon as allocations open up. I'm really hoping I get one of the first ones since I had one back in March but got bumped due to my switch to an individual color.

I wonder if the MY21 G8x iDrive will be updated with the new LD feature that is coming on the MY22 models.

That will vary depending upon the dealership and your relationship with the dealership. Some have put $0 down and others have had to do $5k.

I did $2,500 on mine (non x-drive M3 comp).

Doesn't appear they have a production number though so not a true allocation just yet.

Mine was $0 to hold my place in line until allocations open up. I'm in number one spot according to SA.
I have given them a lot of business over the years from myself and others and reasonably friendly with the GM so I am trusting they actually have a list and I am #1.
Literally weeks away now until allocations are available!

SA said he'll get back to me when order can be put in system. Really hope I don't get asked for a deposit. What's the ETA for the 2022s anyway? July, August, September?

In my opinion, a small refundable deposit to get in line makes sense for both dealer and customer. For the dealer, it shows you are serious and not wasting their time. For customers, it lessens chance of someone from putting their name on the list at a few different dealers. If I am serious about buying the car, I have no problem giving a small deposit.

I thought Allocations came out 3rd week of the month, not first? So wouldn’t may allocations already be given and June’s are 3ish weeks away?

SOP (start of production) for M3 AWD isn't until July, so Sept/Oct probably at the soonest they hit the states.

When I ordered my 18 M3 comp it was delivered about 6 weeks later why do you think it will take so long (10-15 weeks )?

Agreed. Multiple dealerships have all told me to expect a late August / early September delivery for a SOP in early July.

For one, things are nowhere close to being the same with regards to the supply chain and freight as they were back in 2018. We've seen people sitting at the port for 3-4 weeks alone.

6 weeks is on the optimistic side of things right now but I'd be prepared for longer so as to not have high expectations given the delays in production and shipping we've been seeing the last couple of months.

This is a very conservative view. I am assuming my June order leads to a July production and August delivery. That's the typical timeline.
