Anyone else having rattling issues?

All that needs to be said is this, I love my G80 M3, but it’s a rattling mess right now. In addition to the microphone grille above the rear view mirror vibrating really bad, there are a lot of rattles coming from the rear somewhere and I can’t figure out where specifically it’s coming from. Is anyone else having similar issues?

License plate brackets in the trunk?

No rattles on my end.

mine rattles like a e36, I have an appointment to bring it back to the dealer to see if they can fix it but they told me "the plastics would wear in" and they didn't.

I have center speaker on dash rattling & some steering column chirps- if I lift up on the plastic liner underneath steering assembly it goes away... for a few minutes.

I had some rattle in my car by the steering wheel and when I took it in they had to put some felt behind the gauge cluster. Also over hard bumps sounds like the roof or 3rd brake light rattles too.

Rattle in passenger door speaker or even something in the door. Gonna bring it up when doing the 1200 mile service. Kinda don't want them to open something up and then cause more rattles. It's a can of worms type of shit IMO.

I have one that seems to be above the passenger side seat belt. Only rattles over bumps.

Have similar issue in my G20. Thought at first it was coming from front passenger headrest.

Annoying as hell.

I feel your pain, annoying little noises left and right with this car. Not what I expected from an 80k car. Yet again, this is what I get for getting a first year car. My brakes also make an insane amount of noise.

definitely grab one of your buddies with good ears. Have him sit in different spots during the drive. Then put post-it notes on the rattle-spots. Its a good way to get the dealer to actually do an effective rattle-hunt.

Or...as in my case, my buddy stopped my rattle like magic on my E46M3....it was the passenger seat back that was the rattle! LOL.

Took the M3C back again yesterday still rattling from the steering wheel area and now they say they have to change the airbag out and two week wait for the part!

Every once in a while I get a hint of vibration from the gauge cluster but it's really minor. I think I got pretty lucky. Nearly a tank compared to the rattles I've dealt with in some of my BMW's, including my M2c.

Ever since two days my car has this annoying rattling noise that feels like is caused by the exhaust. It feels like the exhaust is hitting the gearbox but it actually isn't. It's super frustrating that I can't figure out where it's coming from every once in a while

Do you have an insta? I think I had the same problem and it was resolved at the dealer. I can dm you a vid of the issue I was having to see if it is the same issue you are having. It was a loose exhaust hanger rubbing against something under the car.
