Got a JB4 for my g82 m4 comp and had it on for about a month.
I’m getting an ECU flash soon so I have no need for it anymore.

More interest in the ECU refresh, did you send your ecu out?

Before you remove it do some logs with the JB4 installed but disabled so we can checkout your flash map tuning and see what boost and knock count look like.

I look forward to a review on an actual flash tune I don't think we've had one yet. Who are you going with?

And as mentioned above, please provide details on ECU flashing. Who, cost, process, and expected results (specially what is above and beyond what the JB4 was already providing).

FWIW, I chatted with femto about the unlock this weekend. Ship to them, unlock is about $700 if I recall. You could do the OBD flash if you have their tool, but if a dealer overwrites the ECU, you'd still have to send back for a redo at 50% the cost.

That is outside of any tuning (JordanTuned, etc). Or you can just go through a tuner directly which still has the same risks w/ overwrite.

I've talked to two people who have ECU flashes on their G80/G82. It's pretty dog crap at the moment.
