You might get there faster but maybe you can't go back home due to the short range remaining after doing few hard pulls

On another note it's worth noting that in most EU countries (so not the UK), ICE cars got massive penalties... could be around 30 to 60k euro more on an M3. for eg. it's hard to find an M3 under 130k decently speced here and it's going to be at least 140k next year... BEV don't have the penalty and sometimes have grants.

Drive the Taycan, yes you lose the sound and shift sensation but it is not a straight line king, its very much a Porsche and it is very fun around the track.

I am looking at one now and did some track day's with it and I was really impressed.

This is where its way different then a Model S even the plaid, it actually feels like your driving a Porsche not a very fast appliance.

If a BMW is racing that Taycan it should be the M5CS for size and price and AWD reasons.

I know itd upset the purist but the xdrive has proven pretty darn good and can do RWD too, so begs the question why xdrive wasnt standard.

I love my RWD to pieces but as all Xdrive adds is good, why wasnt it the only drivetrain option??

Well this is the thing tho isnt it?. I love my M3 for its sheer pace, its driving capabilities, the sound, its agressive looks, the historic 'M' badge, the beautifully built cabin. Its prestige. The smile it puts on my face. The extra spring it puts in my step. That long admiring look back I give it after walking away from it in the carpark. The driving pleasure it gives me which all adds upto me always lingering after that next drive.

Leccy cars all (bar the Taycan) are really fast in a straight line and to me not much else. Debateable if theyre actually greener or going to be greener in the long run.

It's probably not to upset the purists too much and they can also price it 4K cheaper which does matter to people

I told one of the guys from work that I'm selling my RWD because I have the XDrive coming and he told me to just get an Audi because BMWs are meant to be RWD.

I do believe this a wrap. The car belongs to R44. Just YouTube it.

Things have moved on massively since the rise of RWD M's. So much so that the magical M DNA exists in the G8x xdrive model as much as any other M car before it. Progress.

We just picked up a Tesla Model 3 for my wife’s commute and it really pulls. We have just a base Model 3 so I can’t imagine how a Model S Plaid let alone a Taycan Turbo S feels.
