I can’t find where to add that to a new build. Did BMW remove the option? Its supposed to be on my G80 Xdrive. Some of you guys have already received your G80 AWD. Are any of your cars missing the parking assistant plus? I want it where when you put it reverse a Birdseye view of the vehicle comes up so you can see how close you are to things when you are backing up. I’m just wondering if these cars are not coming with that now. Thanks

It's just removed from the Build your own section of the website. Your dealership can still order it.

My G83 has it. I had 2 stop sales, RAM and camera one due to this option. Camera got resolved after a week at the VPC, RAM one week later.

OK so if I ordered it way back in July and it was approved that way then my car is coming with it correct? It will just ruin my day if I get in the car, put it in reverse and I get that stupid radar look and squirrley line thing.

Yes. You might get 2 stop sales that will delay your delivery, but no one has reported it being missing completely

Not yet but then I’ve only been checking my vin on this site and I’ve read that the site is not really accurate or dependable.

It was for me. Hopefully it's accurate for you too. They did eliminate this option on many other models. In theory, that should improve the situation for the remaining cars that have it.

What point in time did this website tell you you had a stop sale? Right now my car is on the ship and just left Southampton England for Brunswick Georgia. So it’s coming. I assume if it has a stop sale they will fix it in Brunswick? Is that when I will know when it gets there if there is a stop sale? Because the website says no issues as of now.

2 days after it got to the Germany port.

Yeah, it will get fixed in Brunswick.

Anyone else feel like we got screwed over those of us who didn't know this option was available but neither BMW website or our dealers told us? The 800$ is really well spent on the surround view cameras. The other option I don't care about at all.
