G83 Stop Sale appearing on delivery day!

I was told this morning of my delivery day that a Stop Sale has appeared on the G83.
Delivery was scheduled to 12pm - Stop Sale appeared 9am!

Since it just says programming control units, I imagine it is just a software update the dealer needs to perform.

Hopefully will get resolved quickly.

But your situation is awful hours prior to pick-up.

At least the PC will not schedule me a PCD date until all the stop sales are resolved.

This is weird. I've had my G83 for a few weeks now. Since I took delivery, my car now shows defect code: 0061230600 Vehicle battery insert check.

I do not have the one yours has now, or at least, it's not showing up on the lookup tool.

Does this new stop sale show up if you enter your VIN here:?

Interesting. Maybe mine needs this fix too. I'll see when I bring mine in for the break in service

Sorry for the delay in responding as I just checked and my stop sale is still 0065600300.

No way I take delivery this calendar year for a PCD, lots of sales will be pushed into 2022 that will affect BMW NA and dealerships 2021 total sales for the year.
