Love the design. Wish they had did a KITH Emblem on trunk and wheels as well. Also door sill saying KITH would of been a nice touch.

I dont understand how Ive seen 10 of these cars, online, and only one of them has had the Laser Lights. And how is a $4,500 roof sticker, an option on another $30,000 option, thats nothing but some monogramming. When it even says the interior is included in the price?

Definitely spec'd strangely. You would figure the limited edition model spared no options. I can understand no parking assist (maybe), but laserlights seem like they'd be a given

I also dont think the dealer does a good job telling people that the executive package doesnt contain the laser lights, anymore. Ive seen people spec their 22 without them, because their CA told them, nothing changed from 21 to 22.

Looks great. There are some subtle details that are missing such as the aforementioned kith roundel on the trunk, the carbon roof logo being an add on cost rather than a free option. Given the upcharge, the only package that should be excluded is the carbon ceramics.

Nice car, love the tricolor upholstery and logo. Just don't understand the KITH Edition option:

Preorders for this edition went live in October of 2020 and listed as a 2022 model. At that time of preordering the executive package still included the laser lights for all 2021 models. When the official pricing guides got released for the switch over to 2022 models BMW decided to break the lights out as a standalone option due to chip shortages. My best guess is that most people that ordered these probably never knew of the change, BMW themselves probably never explicitly communicated the change to those that preordered back in October of 2020, and lastly most CAs probably never cared enough to update their clients of the change to ensure the order got updated to add the standalone option.

No real excuse though as a special edition like this should have just been loaded to begin with.

If you were to go to BMW individual manufaktur and ask them to put together an interior spec like this (or similar) for yourself it would likely come close to that $30k figure.

Personally, I don’t understand the desire for one… with the only exception being that those seats are absolutely stunning, and should’ve been an option.

sigh.. every time someone starts a kith edition thread, some people feel the need to chime in claiming what a waste of money it is. Like paying $100k for an M3/M4 isn't to begin with in the comparative scheme of things.

I would not order a Kith edition myself because I am not a Kith fan but clearly those who do find value in it. Let people buy what they want. It's their money.

100k for a solid German car with a fantastic interior, great seats, more carbon fiber then you can shake a stick at, and oh…. 510hp IMO is not overpriced.

I never said $100k is over priced. But a Toyota driver might think so. Similarly, stop saying kith is “a waste of money”. There’s clearly value for the people who buy them. Just because you don’t understand what the value is doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist for whomever buys it.

That might be a cool looking car IF you take all of those Kith logos off of it. Perhaps I'm just not hip enough to get the allure of Kith, but to me it makes the car less valuable. I don't want my cool, well known branded BMW mixed with some hipster clothing brand. Cool looking seats for sure though!
