Yeah, you have to get further into the process. there will be an option to export the activation code when you reach the option to code out ASD.

Alright, I’ve got my new enet adapter and my TestFlight invite. So just connect and deactivate as normal only through TestFlight? Sorry but I didn’t receive any instructions on this and being a beta tester makes me a little nervous. It’ll be worth it to get rid of this god forsaken ASD though.

I understand being a little nervous. Connect with the testflight version of bimmercode, deactivate as normal but remember to export the activation code just in case you need it.

After the 07.2021 update Bimmercode will not turn ASD off, but other coding works fine.

However Bimmerlink can toggle it on and off.

I guess they changed it...

My car came with 07.2021 and I was able to code it out.

First I would make sure you’ve updated the app as there have been a bunch of changes recently.

Anybody use BimmerCode to code off ASD with the 2021.11 software version? My car is going in for the break in service on Wednesday, and a few people have said the dealer installed the Nov version.

My car keeps trying to update the software, which will undo not just the BC settings that I did, but also the anti-dazzle that I paid someone to code and would be a hassle to get done again. I fear my car is going to update against my will at some point though.

It doesn't seem like bimmercode support for antidazzle is coming anytime real fast. Always requires esys.

So the test flight version they sent me lets you deactivate ASD altogether. Now bimmerlink doesn't show any asd option at all. Its gone gone..

I disabled ASD with the TestFlight version the other day. Much better, night and day difference.

Then it must not have worked. ASD is incredibly loud and over the top on the G80.

How did you get the test flight version? I'm looking to code out the ASD since its playing through my aftermarket subwoofer.
