This is not a fix data per dealer. No marking up on my June order at Irvine but +$5k right now. Probably that depends on demands level and available allocations for each dealers. I realize that I was lucky, right place at the right moment.

just remember sale price is just PART of the deal. You also need to look at the money factor if you lease and the rate if you finance along with the fees.
happy hunting! We do have this xdrive up for grabs at MSRP now whoever is interested

Why wouldn’t you just write a template and email it to every dealer in SoCal and see which one gives you no markup instead of waiting for people to respond with no clear answer on who actually is and isn’t marking up?

I do also have one incoming M3 that might be falling out and one incoming M4 Comp xDrive that might become available in the next couple days. If anyone is interested...

Wow, didn’t know you were on the forum I bought a bmw from you a few years ago and you were a pleasure to work with. If the m3 has the laser headlight, I would definitely jump on it. No m3 xdrive?

Great question. I haven't heard too many on here admitting to paying mark up…I wonder is there many…I doubt it.

Maybe people get forced in to paying for wheel and tire insurance, service packages and PPF etc but not cash over MSRP for nothing. That would just be crazy to do.

Mine asked for $5k and I told them no shot and they backed down Instantly and that was over the phone that it was negotiated

Yeah I finally just made the leap. Was afraid I wouldn’t be able to keep up but what the heck. I’ll do my best! The build sheet is right there and unfortunately no laser lights and no allocation for any more M3 yet. Just a waiting list that grows longer everyday.
Laser light was a must for me and executive package. Seems like allocations are limited. I paid over msrp. Made sense for me. I was able to get a vehicle at msrp in Florida but have to pay shipping to Cali which was $3100. Shipping rates for higher as well. So I paid $2k over locally instead. Balanced out well for me. M3 comp with x drive and I love it!

The last several times I bought a car, I've done the same thing. I compose an email with the build code and the price I'm willing to pay. i make it clear that I will give a deposit immediately to the first dealer who accepts and has an allocation. This time, since the model was new with high demand, i offered full price. This time, it took 4 or 5 days

Valencia is 10+ on their waiting list. You’re looking at 10+ months.

Every dealer has a webpage with an email address for new car inquiries.

I highly recommend BMW of San Diego. They will only sell at MSRP and will not push any extra service or package during the financing. The waitlist is only 5 right now. Lots of car enthusiasts there. Dan was great.
