Aulitzky Exhaust for G8X M3/M4 - install and sound clips

The making of the exhaust was posted up previously on the forum. We received our Aulitzky exhaust and fitted it to our Euro Spec G80 M3 (has the OPFs in place)

That doesn't sound too bad for an opf back. It seems like, whenever I hear a new exhaust for the G8x, I try hard to convince myself to like it. So far I believe the best Midpipe is made by valvetronic and the full length one by Remus. Its great you will be reviewing different exhausts. Just my suggestion would be, not sure how practical in the UK, but a combination of remus axle back and Valvetronic Midpipe, with or without 200 cell downpipes. I think that would be a match made in heaven for this car. Thanks for the video. Always great to hear different exhausts.

Don't like any slip on back system. The problem for the EU cars is the OPF. A lot are removing it, and the sound becomes incredibly good even with the stock muffler and resonator still on.

Agreed - the OPF will have to come off for a really good sound but for many they can't or won't do this for legal/warranty issues.

Yeah thats what im leaning towards. The Valvetronic Mid with the Remus sport rear section. Will decide after that if I do the catted downpipes. I dont plan on tuning my car. It will purely be for sound.

Fi Exhaust is still the best sounding system I've heard on the G8X.

Hi Imran, what's your point of view on the OPF deleters from Leib/Manhart? Do you think using these would still void your warranty or not? The car won't throw a CEL or go into limp mode, but I keep wondering if somehow BMW will still be able to tell that the OPF's have been tampered with (e.g. if the measured values would somehow indicate to BMW that something is not right). I would put the stock exhaust back on and remove the OPF deleters each time I take the car in for service.

Thanks in advance!

Unlikely they would but with any modification go in with your eyes open and accept there is a possibility.
