BMW's design department has clearly been infiltrated by saboteurs. What an abomination. You would have to pay me to drive that thing.

Someone needs to photoshop this teaser with the contrast ratio to see if there are any Easter eggs? Maybe Markus Flasch gave us one gift before he departure?

I was always ordering a G83 despite the grill backlash and the pre-production leaks. Point is some BMW customers stay loyal to the brand and embrace new design. There isn't an other brand for me, that BMW has me ordering 2 cars every 3 years on the leasing cycle.

This is so ugly makes me want to sell my e92 m3 just to not be associated with bmw. I'll never buy a new bmw again.

It's the Technology you don't need a large presence for a tiny LED's but again why a huge grill for an electric car ?? It don't have combustion engine so it doesn't need to cool things down … unless it's all for visual

Because those are the outliers. I remember times where I'd walk into a BMW dealer and wish I could have one of everything they made. Now? There's one, maybe two I'd consider. There just isn't much that's compelling or exciting coming out of BMW right now. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way. This new XM is terrible and embodies everything that's wrong with BMW right now.

Gotta admire Dukec. Gets heavily criticized for the beaver tooth grille, brushes off the criticism, comes back with an even bigger grille design and an attention catching light stripe wrapped around it. Dude got some serious b…

Which begs the question of how the lesser, non hardcore M, M Performance reported version (M45e?) will be named: if "XM" ditches BMW's traditional series number because the XM embodies the pure essence of ///M in an X form, "the most expressive statement in almost 50 years of BMW M", "a unique X for the M brand", it certainly cannot cohabit with a lower-tier version redundantly named "XM M45e". This here is still a concept though, so in theory "XM" could be just a bold statement that will eventually give birth to an X8 production model range with the X8 M sitting on top of the X8 M45e. Or perhaps "XM" will be the name of both the entire model range and the top version itself, and "XM 45e" the name of the lower version. Last edited by advantage20; 11-17-2021 at 08:50 PM.. |
