Frozen Black 2023 M3 order imminent - feedback requested

Hey fam - I'm in the process of placing an order for my new BMW M3 Comp. I was originally planning to order Frozen Dark Grey Metallic but that color appears to be discontinued now. I'm now looking at Frozen Black. Wanted to get feedback from current Frozen Black owners to see how the paint is holding up and if they recommend it. Pictures also welcomed as there's not many out there for the G80 M3.

Personally, I was gravitating towards the darker colors in particular frozen finishes because I liked the aggressive/stealth look. I thought it complimented the body lines and also front-end with darker color imho looks better.

Thanks for any input on this!

Here's a Frozen Black Metallic, but it's an M4: https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1940434

You could also consider getting a non-frozen paint but getting matte xpel protection to make the color look frozen.

I personally do not own a frozen black vehicle but I have physically seen this color in person and I will say it's crazy nice! I am also a fanboy of the frozen color choices; my wife has a Genesis GV70 with Barossa Burgundy with is matte and it's amazing!

Having seen my "neighbor's" next to mine, the color is gorgeous. I still prefer metallics--BSM on mine, but really is a stunning color. I'd go Silverstone interior.

Confession: My car is BSM covered in Xpel Stealth. I love how it turned out and I would 100% do it again. Overall cost is only slightly more than frozen paint but with none of the care concerns and all the protection PPF provides.

Sorry, I just don't get having the frozen paint. It looks like primer to me.
