35% all around including windshield. I've found that's as dark as I can go before night time visibility begins to become impaired. I have the same on my X7 and haven't had any visibility issues.

Great story and write up. I am enjoying my G82 now, but I have plans to order a 2026 or 2027 and do the Performance Center delivery in a few years and then road trip home just like you did. Looks like a true dream trip!

Congrats on fulfilling one dream. The Cherohala was my choice, too, over the Dragon for our drive home from PCD 14 months ago. One other common thread: my 3rd BMW also had 4 doors, 3 pedals, and Oxford Green paint (great shade, BTW) .. but less than half the horsepower (an E34 525i). Enjoy in good health!!

That's awesome! I really was drawn to the classic combo... I had seen pics of an e46 in Oxford over cinnamon and decided that's what I want for my first M car.
