Reading this thread is killing me. I have a Build Week 10 car with no port-installed options that has been sitting at the port for 4 weeks tomorrow (“at the port” status since 3/11). If it arrives with more than 10 miles on the odometer I will not take delivery 😂
I had told myself I would not care how long it took, but I changed my mind. I imagine the more it spends in limbo the better chances of crap happening to it… oh well, First World problems, right? 😂

i would call BMW NA and see what they say. This seems overly long. alot of us week 12ers are on boats so no reason you shouldnt be unless something happened to it. i hope not for your case but i would try and find something out

Well I called a different number and still got the “Genius”. A nice lady suggested a different reason why the car is stuck there versus y’all’s and that is my car is schedule to be dropped in Galveston and maybe that ship is waiting for all the cars going in that direction to be ready for loading up? She could not offer more info.

As far as calling BMW NA none of the numbers listed on their website help me… it seems it is either the Genius or nothing. maybe someone can provide a different number?

Its ok, we're in the same boat (maybe pun intended ). The Galv ships have been far and few this time of year. I am week 11 sitting at the port with no ETA yet. My CA reached out to the port to figure out what the plan is for upcoming vessels and when this thing will land on one

Nope comes up No Records every time!! At least we are finally leaving Europe! Off for a brief stop in Canada (Halifax) on the 19th before coming to my port of NY on the 21st!

It’s always nice to know we are not alone in this world… misery loves company. I sure hope you we both got on that boat (whichever whenever) soon. If your CA finds something out, will you share? My dealer is not the most proactive in the world, and they use the Genius as the rest of us 😤

Ya will do. BMW Genius kept telling me the same thing which is "just keep an eye on the website and when that flips over, you can call us for more info".

Thanks! It finally flipped to in transit as of 4/1. Original ETA to Baltimore was the 16th, it's now changed to the 22nd. I'm just happy it's finally on a vessel.

Mine left 4/4 and I think is scheduled to arrive in Baltimore on 4/16 or 4/18

Yep. For some strange reason the date keeps changing. It was originally scheduled to arrive between the 16th or 17th. The name of the vessel it's on is Victoria Highway.

I too have been stuck at port for a month. I too am waiting for a ship to Galveston. I have at least figured out the aftermarket wheels I want, but still trying to decide which body kit, tint, PPF and any other initial mod/s.

There is a vessel leaving on April 22nd Hamburg Highway. BMW uses KLine and WW vessels. I have been the port a couple of weeks now but am a Week 14 build.

Curious about the source of information that it's going to be offloaded in Baltimore for PCD experience? I was just told yesterday that my PCD G80 is routed to Brunswick VPC.

Yeah, this is interesting as I've seen numerous threads with Charleston being the port for PCD. Maybe they split them up? Or was this the only way to make the most of the schedule?

Guess it's hard to know if you're not the person getting these loaded on the ships.
