Best grey for my build?

Decided I'm ordering a 6MT M3 with Full Leather Tarfuto.

Now just trying to decide what exterior color I want.

I currently have BSM on my F82, looks awesome but can't stand the Maintinence.

I'm between Brooklyn, Skyscraper, and Dravit.

Would all of these go with Tarfuto? Will Dravit and Skyscraper be a ton of maintenance?

Best grey is Dravit. Brooklyn would be the least maintenance since it's the lightest, IMO.

Dravit is just a *really* good grey.

I like Skyscraper the best. It's still a grey metallic so should be very easy to take care of.

What I did to decide my M3's color is take screenshots in BMWUSA's configurator and then endlessly flip through them until I developed a preference.

Brooklyn is nice, but it's become so commonplace as to be anonymous. Our cars deserve special colors - dravit is special. </brooklynowner>

All I’m saying is don’t get Grey Black.
Out of all the Greys , that one is bottom of the barrel garbage.

Dravit is where it’s at

I just had Dravit and am now waiting for chalk to arrive. All of them are great imo. Such a personal preference.

Dravit is ok but you have to love the gold flake. To me, in the sun it looks like it is grey with baby shit smeared all over it. There are much nicer individual greys if you can swing it.

I have Skyscraper and it is quite easy to maintain. It does not get dirty too fast so I don’t have to wash it all the time. The key is to have portable dryer and blow the water off quickly after driving it through the rain.

Lol. I expect nothing less from you. An extra 3k is nothing.

I have dravit, after 2 years I'm sometimes still surprised at what it looks like when I park, then come back after the sun is setting and and it's like damn, such a dynamic color range. I debated forever before ordering, no regrets. Maintainance is easy.

Really? Would you say the maintenance is significantly easier than black? BSM has driven me nuts for the last 4 years

I mean, yes, of course. Any black is the most difficult. Maybe I'm not the best reference since every car I've ever owned before this one was some type of black, but yes dravit shows dirt less and is easier to keep looking good than any black I've ever had.

Agreed. Grey black is the WORST! Terrible color and I never considered it...

Seriously though, grey black is sick.

It's definitely a popular choice. I almost got it too. Just personal preference on the gold flake but won't deny it's loved by many.

Dravit all day and with interior color choice, it will be great. I thought about that color but ended up choosing Silverstone.

If you are shelling out the 2k for gravity might as well commit a little more for an individual color, grey black is gravity gray without the golf flake, personally I hate the gold flake in dravit so I wouldn’t get it but if you like it it’s an option

If you want metalic there is “Grigio telesto” which is dravit gray as well but with pearl flakes vs gold, which in my opinion looks nicer

Nardo gray is cool if you like Brooklyn minus the blue tint/metalic

I have chalk on my m3 and it basically never looks dirty, which isn’t good because I don’t wash it often enough haha

Fashion gray is also nice if you prefer a more “cream” gray compared to chalk

Btw no hate to the dravit crew, everyone has their own preference

BG owner here, but if you’re set on tartufo it wouldn’t be my first exterior choice. The opinions are endless. Highly encourage you look at all the options in real life and go with what makes you happy. That said BG is extremely low maintenance.

I own Dravit and love it but there is no way to properly answer this question. I have not seen a grey on this car that I don’t like. You can’t go wrong. I had never seen Dravit in person or if I had I didn’t know it. I just kept looking at photos of all of the colors I was interested in to try and get an idea of what they look like in different lighting, etc… Ordered it and fortunately was very happy.
Brooklyn, Fashion, Chalk, Grey Black, Skyscraper, Grigio Telesto, and plenty others look so good.
