Based on the video, I'm really curious how it happens. Matt shows the road around the house and talks a little bit about a lack of tire tracks/ skid marks.

Watching him remove the car from the flatbed also hurt lol.

"If we repair this car it will be a completely clean title..."

What an ass.

And that one was super easy to fix, minus that one stupid dash bolt me messed up on.

I may give the difficulty a little higher, as he wasn't able to source any of the parts in this country. He even brought the subframe on the airplane with him. I think he made 3-4 trips on a plane, from the UK, to hand carrying parts back to the US. Thats dedication.

Really interesting video, will be fun to follow along.

Also..he paid £32,000 for it?! Seems very high to me, especially if the subframe was damaged, which was an unknown at the time. If that was the case, don't think he could part it out for close to that. Am I wrong?

Quite the gamble, but maybe for content it made sense for him.

FYI, to anyone still puzzled by what happened, this was simply a tank slapper spin out. Car made contact initially on the front and front left corner as it was spinning clockwise and the big vertical crease on the back was the tank slapper against the corner of that brick wall/fence. Hope that makes sense.

I watch all of his videos, and can't wait to see how wild he goes with the finish. I thought the price tag was steep on this one as well. It's not about the $$ for him though, he'll make that all back lol.

Agree on all. I think he's the best at this right now. Can't put my finger on it, but there's something about tavarish that I find insufferable.

FYI, the newest video on this car is up and how the car hit/wrecked is also in the video, matching what I stated above. 90% of the car was easily fixable, which is exiting to see happen. The rear quarter is really the only moderate problem area. Everything else was bolt off/bolt on and go.

That whole “new” front setup they got. Every cooler looked like hell to me. But hey it’s “new but second hand”.

Maybe, but if you get it super cheap, it’s a quick fix to run the car and it’s not like you can’t go aftermarket later on with upgraded ones if you really wanted. I forget if the core support was messed up, but if that wasn’t and just the cores were done, I’d have replaced all the cores with aftermarket ones, even if a little more expensive initially. Depends what you wanna do. I’m more worried about the rear end on it honestly. If I found that car with just the front busted up and dirt cheap like he did or close to it and all it took was bolt off/bolt on replacements, I’d be all over it and due to the work and satisfaction of fixing it would truly be a good bond with the car. The fact that he was able to find the hood and fenders in the same color and just bolt them up is like amazing. That’s like weekend work and drive it to work on Monday. Lol

I like what he is doing and I am not criticizing him or his work. It’s cool videos but car is getting put together from other crashed cars used parts. It will for sure have more problems long term. It’s not even like car that would be fixed via insurance with new parts.

I’ve always understood that a tank slapper is generally when a motorcycles rear wheel looses traction (generally when cornering), begins spinning at a greater rate, and when the tire regains traction, the bikes balance is dramatically effected resulting in the rider being bucked off the seat and into the tank (the literal tank slapper) or thrown off the bike.

The video seems to imply the the M3 simply spun off the road (rotating about 120 degrees) and into the house.

Gas tank’s in the back of a car, so the saying goes…

Love this guy, makes enjoyable content. The GT3 RS was good, the RS6 as well. I have a weak spot for his dad, he really cracks me up.
