100 whp more at 7K rpm than the CS! S58 is impressive.

If it hits 11.2, it is virtually identical to a 992 S and C8 Vette. BMW's 503 hp is more like 565 with HP = (MPH ÷ 234)³ × Weight formula. Very impressive. Better 60 foot gets you there.

I think that picture is the first one I've looked at and said "wow that actually looks great".

Impressive car without doubt.

The slope of the HP graphs between 6000 and 7000 tell the whole story about the respective character of these engines. S55 actually makes less power at 7000 than 6000. Going to the full 7600 feels somewhat pointless, while the S58 continues to pay dividends on the way to 7200RPM. 0-4000 is also instructive; the CS is making more power than the G8x there, and is much more friendly to mashing the gas out of gear.

Anyone currently breaking in his/her new G8x should reserve judgment; you haven’t felt what you paid for yet.

Lot of hp it’s pushing there. 122 is not slow...120 is not slow. Not totally surprised given these are well on the way to 600 crank hp. Lot of very fast cars out there these days.
