This is one of the silliest things BMW has done. Kith clothing is also pretty played out.

to be honest it looks pretty cool ! well, the interior...i wish this color scheme would be available for "normal" purchasing. It's gorgeuos (Kith Logos not :P )
But not stupid from BMW to cooperate with a clothe branding...both will win, BMW seem to want to approach the youth. I like that they try to push and go new directions...sure, it can go wrong but why not trying? I bet if someone buys this car it will have quiet a value in a couple of years. I cant afford the additional money....160K in Switzerland is just way to much (and I want an M3 anyway, don't like the M4). |

I like the collaboration. Seems pretty thoughtful and deeper than some other collaborations I've seen before. Car brands often do the same type of collaborations with watch makers so I don't see the big deal
I can see why people who haven't heard of Kith or don't like Kith may not like it. But I don't thing it makes the car uglier. A stock m4 competition is pretty aggressive/garish as it is. The changes to this model with the edited logos and upholstery are not tacky (maybe the roof logo is a bit much). |

They sold out, so obviously this wasnt for this forums demographic. I would've loved the interior.

Does it mean I'm poor if I've never heard of Kith?
also that is a terrible brand name.

A lot of haters in here.. some of you are too old or washed up to realize the influence KITH has in the fashion industry BMW is growing in popularity amongst the public not just OG car enthusiasts. This was dope and retro a bold move for BMW not aimed at the older "Car Enthusiast" crowd. 40k more is a bit absurd but its mainly because of how rare it will be. Stop complaining this is great marketing for the company. A way to shine light on the new M3/M4 generation in a market where people usually don't care about cars at all. *Fashion Industry*

Ronnie Fieg is a pretty good designer. Kith has some nice stuff. The Kith x BMW clothing collection has quite a few interesting pieces and not really tacky. So I'm totally surprised at the tackiness of all the logos on the car itself. I wonder if he was really in charge of the car collab because it seems so dissonant with the rest of the collection (and his very nice understated E30). But i think the color scheme of the car is pretty good, especially the interior.
On the part of BMW i think it's a huge mistake to bastardize your logo and your visual brand identity like that. It's advertising and branding 101, really. |

I have several friends who own high-end clothing stores and are involved in this community. They have no interest in cars. They told me the entire clothing and "gear" community is talking about this collaboration. They are reaching an audience that they have never reached before AND have differentiated themselves from their competitors in that respect. With that being said, I would never ever ever purchase one.

I'm surprised that BMW was so open minded and allowed the KITH logo to be plastered everywhere on the car and branding as if they actually developed the car or something. The ending with the BMW | Kith logo was especially strange for. And putting his name on the trunk lid is too much. Only Alpina who actually develops their own car should do that.
