I think the car is gorgeous, but we're all different so we can't always like the same thing

I will take the 6 over the 5 any day

My problem with the 6 is the grille. Especially in pics, it looks so weird. I dont like the bootlid either. I wish the rear lights and bootlid were more integrated. You should see a side profile of the 6 wit the bootlid open

I don't think I like any part of the 6 series. Everything is way too big in proportion to an already big car. The headlights are tiny but the grille is huge . It almost looks like a fat bullfrog. The trunk i know is the epitome of the "Bangle Butt" but it just doesn't look like it flows with the line that comes down from the roof. If anything, it looks flat on top. And those taillights!

Still looks stunning. Nice...BMW should start making LED's part of every facelift.

It looks like they are sticking to their big, heavy and ugly theme for the 6. I still have hope for the 1.

the one definitely looks smaller, but there is no doubt that the 6 is a better car

this debate could go on forever. Honestly, I wouldn't mind a 6-series at all.

Now, let's see: M5 or M6?

I'll just stick with an 06 / 07 and save a few grands.
The facelift is too minor to justify the extra bucks.

Wait you saw both pictures of the rear and it looks the same? You need to get your eyes checked out because I can see 3 things different within 2 seconds looking at the pics.

I agree, if you already have one, I don't see any point on upgrading. The cosmetic changes are minor and don't justify buying a new one.

Those wheels are a MAJOR improvement over the outgoing style. I simply love 'em.

I take the padre's 6 out all the time for spirited drives (with his consent of course) and have really grown attached to it. In fact, it's what converted me from a benz follower to a Bimmer addict.

Anyways, the facelift - while minor - is a clear improvement over the current style. The front intake valance is far more aggressive, with a resemblance to the M6 in overall design (the pillars/divider things are curved to flow better). The headlights are rid of the ghastly amber that I hate with a burning passion. The wheels offer a more muscular presence. The tail end is slightly modified to the point of cleaning things up a bit...rather nice. The tail lights are slightly improved and recieve the captivating LED bars (which are actually in the current 6ers...but these are improved...much more noticeable) like those in the E92 and revised 5 series. The interior is more-or-less the same, with the love-it-or-hate-it transmission knob.

I give it two thumbs up.

Hi guys just joined. i think the 6's rear end would look better with a similar treatment to that given to the 7. It would then have a more visual link to the 3 series coupe too.
