Question iDrive screen replacement

Hey all

I have a 2019 F20 1 series that has non widescreen iDrive screen fitted.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get BMW themselves to replace the iDrive screen with a widescreen version? My car's due to go back to BMW dealer to get the brakepads changed ... was wondering if I could get them to replace the iDrive screen with a new widescreen version too? Anyone have ideas on costs of the screen upgrade/replacement?

Cheers!

Nik

It’s easy to do but I’d be surprised if a BMW dealer was willing to do it. Why not just ask them?
