Ordered in march, dealer automatically switched to a 23, still no allocation. They're saying February delivery.

Ordered placed in May 2022 specifically for the 23 MY...

Didn't want to wait this long. Not in a rush tho, so now I'm thinking, should I just wait for 24 MY with the possible next LCI since I still don't have an allocation yet.

Yeah I guess this is something to consider. Do we know enough about what the LCI will entail?

Brian Jessel has a lot of car allocation. Did you get some discount?

My dealer just texted me that he got me a February allocation. I put down my deposit in April so that's 10 months later. He also said this means delivery to me by end of April / early May. That just over a year. WTF! Anybody know how long it should take to get delivery once production starts? Also, this is for a standard colour. I wanted GTP, an individual colour, for which he said it will take longer. How does the 10 - 12 week delay (that I've often seen quoted on Bimmerpost) work with an individual colour? Is that 10 - 12 weeks the delay to get an allocation or the delay after getting the allocation? TIA!

I went individual, but my order was always individual.

I put in my order May 20, 2022, got my allocation for individual wk 52 (status 102) some time in October. Just flipped to status 150 still wk 52 build.

Did individual add an additional 10-12 weeks? I'll never know because I was always quoted around a year from order to delivery and this will be 10-11 months.

Mine is an M4 coupe in Atlantis Metallic, ivory white full leather with bucket seats, 825m wheels, red calipers, and manual transmission.

Okay makes sense. My dealer said he will ask if they can give me a Feb allocation for GTP instead of a standard colour (in my case SSG), but I'm not optimistic.

That must be some sort of record as that is extremely fast. 5 months from order to delivery for individual. Wow.

I was WK44 production and it’s a Canadian build. Individual colour and carbon seats too. Go figure. It’s a crapshoot sometimes.

I ordered a MY '22 beginning of March, got switched to a '23 in June. Dealer was promising an August allocation, then September, then October. Got an allocation at the beginning of November. This past Monday the dealer says car will arrive at the end of December! To tell you the truth, I was expecting Feb-March from what I've read on the forums. Its an M3 manual in PB with full KO leather.

Hopefully production will start to somewhat keep up with demand going forward.

Good luck!

On the bright side, I'd rather receive the car in the spring than in the winter. But now I'm wondering...if I let it slide a few more months, would I get a MY2024? Is MY2024 slated for an LCI or any improvements? As in: Bring back FDG. Give me option to upgrade audio to B&W. Wishful thinking, I'm sure!

Anybody know when they will start producing the MY2024 G80? I'm looking at a Feb prod date, but if I stick with an Individual colour it could push it out, at which point I'm wondering if I should wait for a 2024 model.
