Rollbar Required?

I was reading anything faster than 10 in 1/4 you have to have a roll bar. Is that true?

Two years back I went to "chassis cert day" at the strip to ask the official when I needed a cage, harness and a chute. New NHRA rules allow for newer street cars (less than 5 years old, I think) to go as low as 8.501s ET with stock airbag setup. Over 150MPH trap still requires a single parachute, and over 180 needs a double.

I managed to get 10.066 at 146MPH in my F82. Then she did an "exit…stage left".
