He said mine were installed wrong from the pics also. I wonder if we’re just removing the part and just repositioning them ourselves

This is an option as a new isolator is not really necessary but we want to go above and beyond on this and provide new ones.

I am awaiting the shipment of isolators which I am supposed to have middle of next week from HQ, I will then package them up individually and start sending them out.

I also am going to email instructions as soon as I fix the language on from Dutch to English. - I will also have in my hands a set of corrected springs that I will put together an even simpler DIY for, so most people can do themselves as well.

My car isn't lowered but this is a prime example of what great customer service looks like. If/when I decide to take the plunge, how you're taking care of your customers will make me want to use AST.

Subscribed for updates.
I'm thinking of switching to AST after seeing how the company backs up their product.
MSS should take note of this.

Other than the squeaking being very annoying while driving, is there any permanent damage that can occur?

I'd say the ride is otherwise as expected. I love my springs and look forward to performing the correction once received.

No, the noise is related to the plastic spring insulator only, which is clipped onto the spring coil. This can either be re-positioned into place or AST is offering a replacement insulator for extra peace of mind. The coil spring does not need to be removed.

Any Chance you have pictures of the correct position. I have an appointment for install this Saturday. I was going to adjust myself. Also is there something we add to make the isolator stay in place like a glue? Thanks in advance.

I'm impatiently waiting for this info too I'm trying not to drive because every time I hear the noise, I picture my red powercoat getting destroyed.

No glue is required, the isolators will not shift position. Follow the instructions in Post #66 and Sean@ASTMoton will provide a set via email when ready. If install is being performed here, kits have already been inspected and approved for installs.

Any conjecture on why this seems to occur on the passenger side only?

Hi everyone,

Emails are going out starting Thursday to all those that inquired, with kits shipping shortly thereafter. The email will have a DIY way to measure where the isolator should be moved, or in some cases where the new isolator would be placed.

If you guys have further questions please email me and I can send written instructions to change the placement on the isolator to hand to your installers.

Email: sales@astsuspension-na.com

Feel free to call also, we are here to help:

Talked to Sean today and got some instructions. Indeed I need to move the isolator down a bit. Fantastic support. If you’re impatient like I am, give him a call. Adjustment can be done with wheel on even!

Good to know! Was the isolator stubborn to move at all or did it move relatively easy? My plan was to tackle this in a few weeks once I swap my winter wheels for summer wheels. So I don't mind waiting a bit longer for the instructions
