I wouldn't worry about it. If anything, a small bit of touch-up paint can be used since it's a very small area.

Well looks like I'm late, but I had the wheel off to put on my spacers and snapped a pic of the spring. You can see the rubbing to the left of center. It appears to be the mentioned issue.

Sean is active on this thread, and he is getting back via email (in time). He even said he'd be posting more info later this.
I wouldn't worry about an individual response just yet. They are actively working on the resolution, documentation, and i'm sure also trying to figure out supply chain issues to produce the updated isolators.
