Is that grille an aftermarket option through any particular vender, or a work in progress concept at this point?

I'm pretty sure it's just a Photoshop. Took the grill from the gt3 car and placed on the street car. Does look cool though.

It's from here if you missed it:

Just went through this thread and tbh most of the modifications look awful. I'll take the stock grill. The original mod from IND makes the car look like it has a moustache. Good effort but it's like you're trying to hide something that's clearly visible and that ultimately backfires and draws even more attention to it. Like someone trying desperately to hide their insecurity but in the process ends up highlighting it.

I wasn't a fan of the front grill in the press photos (IMO the press photos are terrible). But when I saw it in person I was shocked at how aggressive and mean it looked.

If I do order one next year (I'm not 100% decided till the very end, like to keep my options open), TB2 it is. It just looks so mean.

I, too, feel the G8X is very aggressive looking from the front. It makes the F8X look soft in the same way the F3X/F8X made the E9X look soft. I still remember the first time I saw an F3X M-Sport creeping up behind me when I still had my E92 M3.

I think the stock grille looks great in person. I've completely changed my mind. It definitely looks better on the darker colored cars though. I think the only modification worth trying would be similar to what the Red Bull team did to their M4's. Similar to GT3 styling. Cool to see you guys experimenting though

Whoever can manufacturer this GT3 style grille, will uncover a goldmine.

Out of all the alternative options right now...that's the only one I'd go for.

That's coming from someone who's not the biggest fan of BUT doesn't mind the current grill.
