It's as big as its competition (and actually lighter than most of them). I mean it's not like this is a BMW thing, all cars are getting bigger, that's the usual development since I've been following cars.

For everyone else there is the M2.

To me it looks more like 4 wheel slides maybe front biased under braking from optimistic corner entry speed than bad power understeer at corner exit?

The back end of that thing looks aesthetically good on the move, and it looks really quick on the 'Ring.

Its not understeer, its oversteer on purpose. But hey to each his own interpretation. Remember to signal when you change lanes.

I still dislike the new rear lights, but I agree it does look good with those wide hips.

And I think the rear of the new G20/G80 looks better with lighter colors. Probably because the upper dark part of the rear lights doesn't get lost with lighter colors, while with dark colors you actually only perceive the red part.

Still has the ugly muffler hanging down in the rear like the current cars.

The S58 sounds identical to the S55.

If the new M2 looks close to that I will probably buy one.

Small and dynamic is the sweetest combination.

Just sad it won't still be made in Germany.

I quite like the sound.

I stopped by my department credit union this morning, and an older gentleman in his 50's who was standing outside of the building said, "Great looking car! It sounds bitchin' too."

It reiterated to me that not everybody thinks the car sounds like crap.

It's not a bad looking car aside from the new grill that it's supposed to have & the cheap looking diffuser in the "leaked" photos. But there will surely be a booming aftermarket business for that. From personal experience, the S58 is a truly wonderful power plant!! So it will do just fine in this car even if it is bigger than the last. I'd still pick the X3MC because of life situation needing the space and I like the more traditional touches inside and out. I think, like the outgoing M3/4, the X3M will be a "sought after" vehicle down the road. Wish I could buy 2 😂😂. But I plan to drive it for as long as it will start so perhaps not mine specifically 😂😂.

Better hide that interior because it's not like we already know how the freaking 3 series looks like inside. Nor that BMW interiors are all bland and black, so it doesnt even matter....
