Selling a 1 of 1 part that we collaborated on with R44. They had a mold CSL trunk in Single-sided Carbon Fiber that required work and was sent to us. PSI and our local body shop helped mold and fabricate it to fit perfectly and have the old school CSL look. The Trunk itself cost nearly $3K and another $1K was spent on modifying the trunk to work flawlessly. We then painted it Frozen Blue to match the car (e.g. look factory) and that took some additional work.

I sold the car, so my loss is your gain. Someone who wants to grab a lightweight CSL trunk (paint it to their color) or has a factory frozen blue this is the opportunity.

Selling for $1,500 which is going to be cheaper than alternative options in the market for a bolt up piece vs. other cheap vendors that will require work for installation and likely FRP.

The fitment is a little concerning. Can that be adjusted?

Anything can be adjusted but our shop worked to make the fitment very good. i thing it may be a camera angle from the iPhone lens

I do not know how to answer that question. Rhys would be able to address that question, i did not go into their manufacturing process, just know they had built a mold for the CSL trunk (as you saw numerously on their IG) and then we took that (extra they had) and worked on it to work deploy onto our car.

Recently ordered an “authentic” carbon splitter from bayoptiks. They said it was in stock. Got the tracking number and…..drumroll…..its coming from china. Where literally all the carbon is made. They pay pennies for it. Slap on their sticker and add a grand.

While it may be fair that R44 has their parts produced in China. This CF CSL trunk was never a mass produced part. This is mold we used to build and optimize. It required SIGNIFICANT work to make it fit and look OEM flawless. Do not think that is relevant here since any CSL trunk anyone would buy at this point would require $$$ of work to make fit and just the part itself would cost more than what I am asking...

How much extra cost to have it painted another color?

Could ask the same body shop that painted but very doable before shipping. Would just need to coordinate with PSI who helped on this. I’m sure it’s a reasonable price.

Painting at the paint shop is around $800+ for the trunk since they will need to do topside and underside (what we did to look OEM). Shipping will vary on distance given size but it serious please send PM
