I will be happy to just get on a boat but yes Victoria Highway would be better.

Picked up my M3 Comp last month and the overall sales experience at South Austin BMW was great. The negotiations were easy and laid back, they gave me a reasonable amount of equity towards my trade in, and everyone there has excellent customer service skills. Highly recommend Dylan Radzavich on the sales team.

I can't believe how much patience I've exercised here as I go through cars like crazy! I'm getting the itch pretty bad, but I probably won't think about ordering until the summertime.

What is the wait looking like at the Austin dealers these days?

If the wait is still really that crazy, I may need to get in line earlier than I think! I usually go through BMW Austin, as Chris Lagenfeld is always a pleasure to work with.

Looks like there is a line.

Still trying to decide on 2024 vs. 2025.

Avoid the line and DM Day Laborer. Save yourself the headache, especially if you want a 2024.

I hope to decide on 24 vs. 25 very soon. I know I don't have much time left.

I was at the South Austin dealership on Thursday to test drive a 2022 M3 Comp xDrive. They had an open 2024 allocation and wanted me to take it. I said I preferred the 2025. They sent me over a deposit form to get on the list for 2025 models. No mention of how far down on the list. They asked for a $5000 deposit. Is that the normal amount to get on the list?

No deposit to get on the waiting list should be required - especially in Texas. Some dealers require it, but the knowledgeable buyer goes elsewhere. Most dealers in Houston, San Antonio, and DFW do not require a deposit to get on their waiting lists.

It seemed odd, but didn't know about demand. I understand paying a deposit when I select a custom order.

I haven't handed over my payment info yet.

You're correct - a deposit may be required for some (not all) individual paint orders, for example - but that would be paid at the time the order is placed.

Yes that's what I had to put down to get my allocation in 2022 at the same location. 9 months later I got my M3
