G80 vs RS5 SB in terms of ride quality

Haven’t been able to get into a G80 M3 xDrive yet but was wondering if anyones driven both the RS5 with DRC and the G80 would be able to tell me how much the rides differ in terms of stiffness in Comfort mode?

i dont have an RS5, but i have an RS3 which has similar sidewalls to the G80 in stock form. the G80 is firmer in comfort than the RS3 is in dynamic. i don't think it's because the suspension is stiffer. i think it's because the chassis is more rigid.

the G80 feels much more tight on the roads when going over bumps, undulations. the Audi just feels a little squishier, which may translate into slightly more comfortable ride but i feel the feeling of bumps and on initial impact is very similar, it's the release that is different.

don't know if that helps

The RS5 is definitely softer overall, it lacks the same rigidity as mentioned on top of the dampers not being as firm. The G80 feels more planted overall than the RS5 and I don't think the NVH is bad in either.

The RS5 SB has more of a bouncy ride, but I'd say the RS5 rides a softer. For me personally the RS5 in dynamic rides like the G80, but that's if you remove the bouncy feeling of the RS5.
