Mine actually started working today! As soon as I crossed the border to Belgium I got a prompt on the display saying a new setting unlocked. Then all my apps were there. When I get home I’ll do a full write up of what I did.

I went to Switzerland and as soon as I was about 10 miles in my apps and CarPlay came alive. I sent an email to BMW about 4 days ago so not sure if it was them or Switzerland but I think it was Switzerland.

Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s just down to the cellular frequencies used. Pretty pumped to have it operational.

Ordered 3rd week in June. Got my plates yesterday and taking delivery on Friday. Car went to Foilsta over the weekend to get PPF. Going to take a road trip this weekend.

- Monday went to relook at it
- Tuesday arrange loan, signed BMW purchase agreement
- Today wire transferred payment, picked up plates
- Either tomorrow or Friday -- pick it up

Wow.. we might have some base X3's here at USFK.. that's amazing.. M3s in showroom is unheard of in California too

Getting back into the M game after selling my 2009 E93 in 2014. This was a prior military sales purchase through Bavarian on our last tour.

I placed this weekend for a "likely" May 2022 delivery on a G83 via Euler

- Front Ventilated Seats
- Carbon Fiber Trim
- Laser Headlights
- Wireless Charging (wife wanted)

I loved the look of the carbon fiber seats, especially with a convertible, but have had excessive wear to some degree on every BMW that I have owned, so figured that I would avoid the potential for eventual disappointment. I test drove a coupe with the seats and they were nice, but I think that I would get tired out the process of getting in an out the car. Passed on the M Drive Professional as there are no plans to track the car.

I am bit torn on the possibilities of Aventurin Red or Skyscraper Gray, although my wife would prefer Donnington Gray, but I really don't want to add that cost and increase the wait.

The dealer only had convertibles in stock with the Moonlight Soft Top. Any one have any thoughts on the regular black one? Would you just go for the M Drive Professional?

Hey brother I actually ordered my g80 xdrive 3rd week of June also from Bavarian, im now stuck in "155" status (quality check) since 11/11. No updates or changes to this day, no idea why its still in QC. Did you have similar experience or it cleared QC fast ?
And i'm also taking it to foilsta when i get it for PPF lol

I have no clue what's happening with the delays. I thought I messed up ordering through Euler instead of Bavarian. I think they are all having the same delays because of BMW production delays.
My car didn't have any delays, it just took forever to get an allocation. Once I had an allocation the car was done in 2 weeks.

It's crazy man, the thing that really frustrates me is the lack of communication and information. I just want to know why its stuck in QC. My salesman has no information or any way of finding it. I just find it so strange that there is no way of finding out the status. Did you receive your car already? what was your build week?

In my opinion, M Drive Pro is not a necessary addition. Tuning will allow us to get rid of the limiter. I know that I don't need to go faster than 162mph, but if I could, I would haha.
I also have the Tartufo interior.

I don't remember the build week, but it went into production on Oct 21st and it was at Euler on Nov 9.
I was in the same boat, no info on any delays or anything. Just waiting…

I picked up my car on 11/19.

Initially my production week was supposed to be in September, then September comes, salesman calls me and he's like Mike your new production week is in November, I was like man this is crazy such a long wait and here I am still waiting hopefully I get it before the end of the year lol

I appreciate the insight! That interior looks great! We did coffee in my wife's X5 with Tartufo becoming available in that model later.
