Has anyone used this chip before for the manual? Any issues with cell lights or warranty related issues? Thanks in advance.

It may not be the most sought-after choice, so finding customers who can share their experiences might be challenging.

However, you shouldn't worry about any CEL issues. It's similar to other piggyback products available, and none are known to cause CEL.

Just curious, why is it not? Costing compared to a JB4 or equivalent?

Price to value ratio is not there, in my opinion.

The Jb4 levels better and costs less.

I have a X-Drive Comp, so not a manual, but did end up purchasing the Dahler Tune back in May. The install, just like the JB4, is fairly easy and straight forward. I did not dyno the car, but the butt dyno is content and you can certainly feel the power increase....not sure if the 100whp increase claim is true or not. Never had an issue with CEL or any other warnings/lights. However, a few months into ownership, the tuning module will not pair with the phone/app, which means I am not able to control it in the settings (not even certain if the unit is active). I reached out to Kies Motorsport and Dahler USA for technical assistance but my e-mails/calls have gone without response.

In summary, the module works well IF it works. If it doesn't, as I am finding out, Kies and Dahler just sort of could care less. Perhaps, JB4 is the way to go.

Im sorry to hear that, how long has it been since you last contact them and they last responded?

I initially reached out late last week and haven't heard back. In my mind, a response within 24-48 hours is a reasonable expectation. I send out another round of messages this morning. Perhaps, being persistence will catch someone's attention.
