Call around and get on a couple of waitlists. I know a guy that found a dealer in MA and got on the list a month ago and just got an MSRP allocation. There's no reason to pay more than MSRP

DFW is tough…we only have 5 dealerships for almost 8 million people. I checked around when I was ordering back in February and A few quoted me a year+ wait. But were happy to show me some low mileage preowneds at $90k. Plus they didn't want a deposit, which was a red flag for me. Without a cash commitment I felt I would be at their mercy for moving me up the list.

I ended up at Autobahn in FW. This is going to be my second car there and I've been quite happy. My CA quoted me 9 months and he's been spot on so far.

Well I got a production # finally..... but they used the wrong build code

So they got approval for the individual color but the BMWNA rep said they had to remove a bunch of options to make it a base car. I'm looking at this spec sheet like..... wtf is this

So I've submitted my build again and hopefully they get it right this time.

Yeah I'm having to do a lot of hand holding... a lot of following up... a lot of double checking... I think I'll be put at ease once the order is correct and I can just begin tracking it like normal

I feel like it's the entire dealership. Supposedly he had sent over my build to the manager... who then either completely missed it or mixed it up with another when he was requesting approval for the individual color. The manager has since emailed production again to get it fixed... hopefully today or tomorrow it should all be sorted out. But sheeeesh...

You're not alone.

When I put my order in, my CA kept sending me build sheets for an X7 from a customer who had the same first name.

Give a call to BMW of Arlington, was on waiting list at Sewell since Apr, was told at least 8 more months for allocation. Called Arlington one last month, my M3 is now waiting at port ready to come home to me

Just picked up my M4 from Hany yesterday, Hany was a good resource. He mentioned they got several M3 allocations and still had 1 available as of yesterday.

Reach out to Blake from BMW college station. Their wait list is low and at MSRP. You can be on their list for MSRP +2K in dealer add on. If u want an immediate allocation one of my dealers has one for G80 at 5K over MSRP. Good luck

Congrats. Maybe we might be able to pick up our car at PCD around the same time. Mine just went into production with build date 9/12/22. May I ask which dealership yours is. I was in the list with Bill Jacobs and had to cancel due to no movement

Yes at MSRP, no dealer adds unless you want them. I had them do my tint, you can select %. Finance was not high pressure sales either, overall it was a decent experience, I would use Hany/BMW of Arlington again, very friendly staff.

Looks like they fixed MOST of my build... but forgot to add the 826M bi-color wheels...

Maybe this is a sign for me to just pony up for the 1000m wheels?
