With no signs of more allocations being released to dealers this month, I'm creating this thread to track allocation update during the month of September. It would be helpful if we can use the below template for updates.

Allocation situation has been improving in the recent past and would take those statements with a grain of salt. I would believe if we heard the same from more members or dealership personnel within the forum.

So funny thing is my SA indicated that they weren’t expecting another allocation drop until early October. This was right when I put my deposit down in early August. I kind of got excited after lurking in the forums and reading posts with people getting allocations. Also people indicating the allocations were coming irregularly. Seeing your post brought me back to what my SA said about the October allocation drop. Oh well, not much we can do except hope that they are wrong. Maybe a member that works for a dealer can chime in. Rather have my hopes crushed now rather than checking the forums all the time to see if people are getting them.

Hmm, that is 2 separate reports of no September drop.

We'll see how it plays out, but it could be due to the August holiday closure...or just BMW's normal production/supply issues.

Or they're planning to sell the allocations they do receive in September to people paying ADM

I dunno... I don't trust these dealers. One of my dealers claimed they hadn't gotten an allocation for a few months only to have a bunch of '23 MY cars show up in-transit. When I confronted them about it of course they threw every excuse they had at me.

Agree with these statements and hate that you can't trust these dealers. Mine is Autonation so I'd be curious to hear if others have/had issues with them or if they play it straight.

Honestly, because of this whole process, started reaching out to find a Blackwing this wkend. I traded in my X3M Comp early in May, as my CA swore he would have an allocation end of May or early June. Sitting here end of Aug and no allocation yet.

Stay close to your "friends" and closer to your SA at Westmont, especially since the two of you are right after each other on the list. That will allow you to really know that the next allocation is yours.

Yup... I think you had posted something similar before about westmont and that same day I went and yelled at them I think it's safe to say I'm on not only my CA's radar but also on the GM's radar now...
