0099310200 recall code
I know I've seen a lot of people posting about this. Just saw using the recall tool that my work order for this has been closed so hopefully everyone will see a quick end to this. I still have no idea what the code was for.

Mine still shows as Open. Genius was ZERO help when I asked, and my CA had no idea either.

Update:
My car was "In Transit" to the VPC and switched back to "At the port". I guess my assumption of the VPC not being at the port was correct. However, my open defect code is now closed so it does not seem to be anything of real concern since it was closed in less than a day of being at the VPC. Hopefully this is the case for everyone else that has this code. ------------------ My VIN had this code as well (the tool seems to be down so I can't verify if it is still open). My car arrived in Charleston, SC (port of exit) this past weekend. Today my status flipped to "In Transit". I'm not sure if I have cleared VPC because I have heard cars destined for BMW's Performance Center, go to the VPC at BMW, near the factory. Last edited by SimsimmaM3; 08-19-2022 at 11:47 AM.. |

42 days and finally the recall/campaign is closed and have moved on to port! For those of you keeping score at home... the code was APPARENTLY adding an insert to the owners hand book. Can't make this stuff up. That is what the recall tool was telling me, a couple days prior to closing. No Staples or photocopiers in Germany?
To everyone here, keep the faith, its always darkest before the dawn. |

The page was down for me for a few days when I was entering my VIN number. Got to VPC on the 2nd so not sure if that had anything to do with it. However just saw an update that recall type shows “No recall” and that VIN status changed from “open” to “Closed”.

I picked up my car last week as well. It came with the manual and there is an insert about fuels with a max ethanol content of 10% (E10) can be used. The manual says 25%.
