Got on the list for the M3 in Sept 2021(!) and June 2022 for the M4.

Different dealers.

When I called the BMW Genius recently, they told me week 35.
Just hit 150 this morning on 8/9/22!

Notified 8/9/22 of 112 status. Changed to 150 9/16/22 so essentially 6 weeks.

I spoke with BMW in between and they confirmed a production week in September which lined up with the wait.

Congrats on hitting 150! Sounds about right since the factory was shutdown for the two week summer holiday in August. What is your estimated production date?

Its very subjective. You can be status 112 with a build week 46 or status 112 with build wk 39. So you wont change to status 150 until 1-2 weeks prior to your build week. I would call your CA when you are status 112 and ask which build week you are so it makes the wait tolerable

Hey, a little late to the reply party here. Thank you. I honestly don't recall the exact production date that I was given on the phone other than it was a week in September, which looks like it played out. I also don't recall if I was given the production date or the build date - I think it was build. I asked specifically, so is this when production begins or is complete and they said when it's complete. After it hit the paint booth mid last week if I recall correctly, over the weekend I believe it was, it skipped forward like 4-5 updates to being dispatched from the factory. Today, Friday, it's now saying at the port. Looking at a performance center delivery and going to search the forum again to see how the scheduling/communication process works with that.

I'm not an expert on it but I believe to do a performance center delivery you have to schedule that before it gets produced (while it is in status 150 I think). You'll want to reach out to your dealer ASAP to verify.

PCD can be requested until the vehicle is loaded onto a boat in Europe.
