So, car is still sitting at Brunswick port nearly two weeks later. I have PCD scheduled in 3 weeks but, in the meantime, there’s a hurricane / TS headed that way. I’m not sure how they store the cars at the VPC. I think it’s just across the street from the water.

How concerned should I be? Genius had no info today on when they plan to move it.

The drama never ends with this purchase it seems…….

Like you don't have enough to worry about, right?

The storm is going to be well west of Brunswick, according to current maps, and so your car might get wet, but that should be it. It's probably better off there than sitting in Greenville, which is right in the path of the storm.

It still belongs to BMW, so I guess worst case is that the storm turns east, floods the area and they have to build you another one. Let's hope not!

Yeah…worst case, it still belongs to BMW. After starting this journey in March, getting an allocation, build date, port delays, and now that the car is on the right continent, damage would really suck.

I think it’s going to be a bourbon and scotch sort of week.
