Yeah, best I could come up with using the Leasehakr tool, with 7.25% CA tax and about 4k down is $956/mo!

My deal on an M4, 9.5% off 81000 MSRP including loyalty and .86 mf on TEN k miles, in CT with its 7.75% tax on cars over $50k is about $880/mo.

Absolutely love the looks of this car much better than the M340XI, ride is not much more stiffer either. Unfortunately I got the Pirelli P Zero and not the PS4S which my M340 had but will be replacing after 5000 miles or so.
Lol if that dealer is Freehold they are talking about me.

Might want to look through this thread... similar discussions, and those waiting. https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1809218 Might be something in your build with supply issues, etc. I've heard issues with 6MT, Carbon Seats, and one or two other things.

Not quite the right thread for that, but no, that's abnormally long.

I think "Production begins" or whatever just means you're in the queue. I've been in that stage for a while, but when I call the 800 number it says the target completion date is April 15th. I've been sitting in "production begins" for about 3 weeks now.

Just a quick note - not sure how people are saying to buy rather than lease because its the same payment. My lease payment is in the 800's with 0 down and a discount. The only way a finance payment would be close to that is if I put like 15k down and did a 72mo finance. Definitely not apples-to-apples.

That being said, my intention is to own, but I'm leasing and if I hate it or what an out, I have it. If I like it, at the end of the lease I put the 15k I would have put down and get a short-term loan for the rest.

I like the idea of trading to the new M2 if I can choose red buckets and it has mechanical gauges, 6MT, and all that fun stuff.

Care to share the details of your lease? This would most likely be the biggest discount anyone's seen thus far.

Not as good as some of the folks going directly with brokers, but I'm about 6% off on a 76k M3, plus loyalty and recent grad discount.

I'm in Oregon too, so no sales tax.

Very nice! 3k in MSRP and sales tax is the difference between our deals. Makes sense.

FYI - genius still says Production Begins I have a Vin, but been sitting there for weeks. I called my sales guy and he sent me a screenshot and my order is actually in status 150. I guess it is on track for that April 15th date after all.

Went down to BMW of Riverside, California to pick up a X5 for my wife and man the showroom there is spectacular. They have 7 individual G80's and 2 have sold already for 20k over MSRP. They have an Urban Green G80 M3 comp that I would gladly replace my Frozen blue M3CS with. The car looks so damn good I can't stop thinking about it. I may just go pick it up tomorrow but not sure I want 3k per month in car payments right now. The other Individuals are Purple silk, Mint green, Signal green and I can't remember the others. Hit up JR and he may able to get you a deal. Tell him Andrae referred you.

I'll call JR tomorrow and I'll let you know. Really cool guy. I told what I wanted and he made it happen in 5 mins. I know it's crazy to think they are selling for 20k over. Normally we get discounts on these car but I think because of Covid supply is short. I had to search for a while to get at 74k MSRP X5 under at $850 per month. Some dealers wanted over 1k with money down.

Might be a dumb question, but appears there's some decent discounts to be had if you're leasing (7-8% off?), but not so much on a finance/purchase. Why is that? Are people only seeing these discounts on competition models?

My dealer won't budge on $500 off for a purchase (M3 manual, with $13k in options).

Other posts seem to indicate a shortage of manual allocations, so is a discount on a manual M3 build, regardless of whether you're leasing or purchasing, even a likely scenario considering how new these models are?

Sharing my experience as I was looking for a new car and I've been holding onto my 2011 335IS (love this car) and was offered what I think to be a solid deal compared to what I've read, seen and researched on my own.

I've got the 335is for sale on the forums but may just keep it, we'll see.

I put in a order today for the M4 Competiton.
negotiated 4% off MSRP. - $79,445.00.

M4 Competition Coupe
Alpine White
826M Wheels
Farins Red / Black Extended Leather
Carbon Fiber Trim
Driver Assistance Profesional
Executive Package
Parking Assistance Package
Red Calipers
Ventilated Seats
Moonroof
M Shadowline Lights

Most dealers 5-10k above MSRP here in Florida, I found one other with allocation who offered a 3% discount off MSRP.
